    Ever since I have tried to network my two home PC's together, I am surprised that they don't have access to each other, even though I went through all the processes to connect them, giving the permissions to the file folders/hard drives full access and keep getting error message telling me I do not have permission and to contact Systems Admin, which, as-far-as I can remember, I do believe that I am, in fact, The System Administrator.Now, in the past, I had my Windows 7 PC connected to a Windows XP computer and all the file sharing worked Flawlessly.Ever since I got my Windows 11 PC up and runn

    Finding .IMG or .ISO file in Windows 8.1 Pro download

    Hey guys,

    In preparation for my new PC I downloaded Windows 8.1 Pro from Dreamspark, and I wanted to burn it to a DVD, so I can install it on the new PC.
    However, in the downloaded files I can't find a .IMG or .ISO file anywhere. I understood that the .IMG file is the one you need to burn to the DVD?

    Any suggestions?

    Query on Clean installation of Windows 10 Pro on Windows 7 Pro PC.

    Original Title: Windows 7 Pro (from MS upgrade key) to Windows 10 Pro - Clean Install

    My Gateway NV7923U X64 came with Windows 7 Home installed.

    I purchased an upgrade key from MS and upgraded to Windows 7 Pro.

    I need to upgrade to Windows 10 Pro and then do a clean install.

    • Will my existing upgraded Windows 7 Pro now upgrade to Windows 10 Pro automatically, or do I need to perform additional steps?
    • Will I be able to do a clean install and have Windows 10 Pro after upgrading?
