    Why can't the screenshots taken with Step Recorder be viewed?


    I created a Step Recorder file hmt and just two days later, the images stopped appearing and now it only shows the message that a screenshot was taken... I took more than 50 screenshots and limited the saved screenshots to 100 so there shouldn't be any issues with saving the screenshots.

    How do we see the screenshots

    file created was Recording_20220429_1352.mht

    Can not use links

    • Review the recorded steps as a slide show

    Why can't the screenshots taken with Step Recorder be viewed?

    Steps Recorder doesn't save screenshots in generated zip file

    Title describes the problem. I tried recording some steps to reproduce a bug and found that the Steps Recorder itself does not actually save the screenshots anywhere, or at least not in the zip file it saves.

    Workaround: I can screenshot the displayed screenshots in the steps recorder window.

    Note: this is strangely ironic and very frustrating.
