  1. Why can't windows installer see my new ssd?

I have an ASUS Zenbook UX7602ZM. The 1 TB ssd in it has a problem that causes the computer to crash after login. I took the card out, put it in an ssd enclosure and tried to copy all of the files to another computer. I have 2 partitions, one for data and the other for the OS. The ssd was bitlocked. Strangely, with a different bitlock code for each partition. I suspect that the OS partition was using an old bitlock key since I must have used Acronis to install the OS from a backup on the older laptop. I was able to copy all of my data files but when I try to copy the OS partition files the copy

    :)

Can´t boot after installing windows 10 in a new ssd.

    Motherboard: ASRock H61M-S

SSD: Teamgroup GX2 128gb (brand new)

The problem started when i tried to install windows 10 in this ssd.

To clarify the ssd itself works fine, i can download stuff to it, open files, etc.

This is the order of what happend step by step:

.Firstly i download the installer from microsoft to the usb.

.Then i plugged it in and run the computer with the ssd and the usb only

.The installer opens up so i choose language and the other things.

.Now in the partitions section i clean everything (only ssd conected) and download there

.No errors pop up and the pc resets as it should but i am sent to the installer instead of the windows instalation section.

.I reset the pc and go to BIOS to check the order and i notice that the ssd doesn´t say UEFI on top so i change the order so the ssd starts first but i get a black screen with an underscore blinking so i wait and it goes directly to the windows installer.

.I turn off the pc unplug the usb and retry only to get greeted by the connect a boot device screen.

.I try redoing everything so i go back to the windows installer and create a new partition with the disk and install it there (removing the already created partitions)

.Exact same issue happend as before

.To check if theres something wrong with the USB i install Windows in a different disk (a hard drive) following the first steop of installation and worked fine.

Is there something wrong with the ssd? Is it not compatible? Did i do something wrong? Thanks in advance.

Why can't windows installer see my new ssd?

Issues with installation of new MSATA SSD

Yes it was a clean install on a new SSD. The laptop boots into windows fine. As mentioned in the earlier posts I'm trying to get the BIOS to see the new SSD as UEFI and not Legacy as it originally did when I installed the SSD and installed windows. I changed it from MBR to GPT from the windows installation screen and have since followed the steps above to allocate the drive an EFI partition, the drive itself still isn't seen under UEFI boot options in the BIOS itself though and I'd imagine it may be the final steps listed that may resolve this but for it doesn't want to allow it. I'm happy to post pictures, could you be a bit more specific as to what you'd like me to post. Thanks Daniel
