Windows 10: Why did an official windows update break my laptop?

I was working on my laptop when I was gonna finish up for the day. I went to settings to check for any updates and it said Windows 11 and then some number, maybe 22H or twenty something T I don't remember. Anyway the point is after I installed this update this is in the settings app, system updates tab and restarted my laptop, I went to a BSOD and not a single option works to restore/repair my PC back to working order again. I tried everything, previous update reboot via USB, all BSOD troubleshoot options, all cmd.exe Admin prompt commands, everything... Nothing works, only thing I haven't

Windows 10 Pro and Ergnomic Break Reminder

Apologies for the late reply.



Do you remember installing any break reminder software?



It looks like it is a pop up from a break reminder software.



I suggest you to look for this in Programs in features and uninstall it if do not use it.



Try the following steps:

• 
  Press Windows + R keys to open Run Command
  
• 
  Type Appwiz.cpl and hit enter
  
• 
  Search for the programs and un-install it.

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

 

MSI 5870 BIOS Update

Still can't reproduce. Could you please post the exact BIOSes that produce the issue?
