Windows 10: Why Did my Static Wallpaper Change itself to a Toucan After Windows Updates KB5030310,...

Ok so I know computers, I have worked tech support for years, but this has me seriously creeped out and I can't find an explanation for it. I have had the same static wallpaper set for months now, I don't change it. I had just finished installing the brand new windows updates KB5030310 and KB5030509, my wallpaper was still the same when I got back to my desktop but I did quickly open full-screen windows, I used the windows button + P to activate the second monitor attached to my PC as I usually only have the primary activated, and as soon as I activated my second monitor the background was cha

As an initial troubleshooting step, I suggest you to restart the computer and check if you are able to successfully change the lock screen wallpaper.

  From Desktop, right click and select
  Personalize.

  In Personalization window, click on
  Lock Screen in the left pane.

  And choose wallpaper you would like to apply for the lock screen by choosing the browse option.

  Close the Personalization window.

Win-10 themes keep changing

Thank you for providing the information.

• Did you try the steps suggested by Suvarna Govinda above, what was the result?

As I understand the issue, Themes in Windows doesn't have the options to change on its own. Only the Wallpapers in the themes can change as selected ( Picture, Solid color and Slide Show ).

I would suggest you to make us understand that if the Wallpapers are changing in Theme which you have selected.

Below are the steps you can check if it helps.

• Press Windows + I keys and select Personalization.
• Select Theme and select the Default theme.
• Select the Desktop Background below and select the Picture
  and save it and check.

Windows 10 update changed my wallpaper

So I just updated windows 10 computer, it was a big update, I think it was called creators or something, and it restarted a few times

It changed my wallpaper which I hadn't saved. Now, my wallpaper was a flat colour, so it sounds like I am complaining over nothing, but I was used to the color. But seriously though, why did an update change it? Also it made my cmd look weird, changed the
font or made it bigger. Did this happen to anyone else? Also, is there any way to recover my wallpaper without suggesting system restore since I don't have that enabled? I remember good old windows 7 stored my wallpapers
