  1. Why did printing on both sides, only print on one side?

I've got an HP LaserJet color printer. And I've got Windows 11 Professional. Last night I was on a website, which I wanted to print the first two pages of. I selected that, specified that it only print pages 1-2. The print dialog clearly showed me that it was going to print on both sides of the page. I clicked the Print button. Then it proceeded to print on two pages, one side each page. Why did this happen?

    :)

Networked Printer: How to print both sides?

    Hi

I have a printer installed on a server and accessed by computers in our library. From the server, I have clicked 'print both sides' from printing prefrences but it's not working, it only prints one side.

Do I need to do something else because it is on a server?

    Thanks

  3. Networked Printer: How to print both sides?

Some printers may be duplex but don't support the command over network protocols.

On most printers (no duplexing), printing on "both sides" means print odd pages, user has to change the orientation of said pages, and then it prints even pages. They have a special sequence dedicated to the "both sides" process. If this is the case, after it is done printing odd pages, a dialog should pop up showing you how to put the paper back in and also tell you how to resume printing.

Why did printing on both sides, only print on one side?

Print on both sides Automatically Win10

My problem is that when I want to print on both sides the settings are suggesting "Print on both sides (Manually)" But I want it Automatically. The printer type is an HP LaserJet 755, networked. The printer itself is able to do this function with others computers running Win 7, and 10. But my driver is only allowing the "Manually" option. I don't get this at all. Any clues on this one?
    Thanks much. Van
