Windows 10: Why did windows 11 remove full screen recording for non borderless windowed modes? and how...

I used to be able to record using Xbox game bar is minecraft java full screen mode but now I need a non existing windowed borderless.

Windowed mode (No border)?

I like borderless window because it's very quick when alt-tabbing. It's a big thing for me.
- Snappier when multitask while gaming. Imagine if you have to reply a chat, want to read walkthrough or just bored waiting for a turn (in Civ 5 or Heroes for example). With fullscreen, most of the time you have to wait 3-10 seconds before you back to desktop and about the same time to go back to the game. With borderless, it probably takes less than a second each.
- Like above me said, there're some games that prone to crash when alt-tabbing in full screen (Skyrim for example).

Borderless > Full screen. Anytime.

Hi all,
What is the difference between fullscreen mode and borderless window mode? Both of them look like standard fullscreen mode. What is the point? Do games run better on borderless window mode? Why does this option exist at all in games?

Radeon HD 6990 - not playable in full screen mode

CCC 11.2 display driver is not compatible, the screen native resolution (1920 / 1200) wasn't in the resolution list.

CCC 11.3 works the same way as 11.4, works fine in windowed mode and windowed fullscreen (e.g. no border) but in full screen mode I get non-stop flickering. *Frown

The flickering happens with and without vertical sync enabled.

Edit: tried fraps in another game with the same result - the flickering is showing in game but not in the recorded video.
