Windows 10: Why do all of my USB ports suddenly cut out after a while?

This has been going on for about a week now. I don’t have to touch any part of the computer for it to suddenly cut. My mouse, keyboard and HDDs are connected via USB, meaning I have, at times, lost important work, as the only short-term solution is to restart. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the USB drivers, however this does not help, because it isn’t one particular USB drive - it’s every port, including the headphone port, that all of a sudden doesn’t get recognised. Is there a fix to this??

Ok, let's see it with pictures step-by-step. First right-click on the USB device and select Update driver software:





Then select Browse my computer for driver software (LAST option) :





The select Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer (LAST option) :





Then select the standard driver from the list and click next:





Click next/OK as required to complete installation. Repeat the steps for all Intel USB devices. Finally click on each USB root device and press DEL to delete it, reply YES when asked. After deleting all USB root devices restart the computer.

Please test USB ports with a bootable windows 10 iso.
Then if necessary advance to the next step in the prior post.
