Windows 10: Why do i get BSOD and freeze in windows 10 while browsing and doing normal tasks ?

Hi, i often get bsod and freeze while doing regular tasks. I have two minidump files analyzed but i cannot understand what the problem is. If i disable intel turbo boost i dont get crashes anymore... BSOD error codes are MACHINE_CHECK_EXCEPTION , WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR 124 and KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED. i have a brand new pc and i didnt overclock anything. I also ran stress test on my components for 20 hours with intel turbo boost enabled and nothing happened. I tested my cpu with intel cpu tool diagnostic tool and it passed everything.

Random BSOD while browsing internet


BitDefender is nothing special. mwac.sys causes BSODs anywhere.

In that very thread, the suggested action apparently worked.

The storage and network filters of any third party antivirus can cause BSODs. Neither MBAM nor BitDefender is any special. For a regular antivirus, it may be shifted to an alternative; but MBAM has no alternative. So a clean install of the said program is the most feasible first step.
As far as the first step is not failing, it is better to not think for the second step. Because the BSODs are not universal, failure at the first step is not universal; and success at the second step is also not universal.
That is why I posted that my suggestion may work, or may not. Let us see where it goes.

 

Windows 10 - cannot add exec to Startup in Task Manager

I purchased a new computer with Windows 10 already installed. I am trying to add an exec to the startup list but Win10 will not accept it. The exec runs successfully on my Windows 10 machine if I start it manually.

Steps I've taken: Task Manager, Startup Tab, File>Run New Task. (browse to location, select.) It will start immediately, but does not show up on the list to autostart, nor does it start on reboot.

Any suggestions?

 

Computer Hard Freezes Randomly - No Error logs or Memory dumps


I posted on Sevenforums a few days ago regarding this issue:

I was suggested to check for temps (all were normal) and perform a clean install of Windows 10 (I had upgraded from Windows 7). I had another hard freeze today similar to the ones I was having before. The issue is back and I'm unsure of what to do next. Is this no longer a software issue if reinstalling the OS was unsuccessful?
