Windows 10: Why do I get JavaScript error prompts when I open canva?

I was about to use Canva yesterday but a JavaScript error occurred so I thought I'll just use it the day after. I tried opening it today but it still has the JavaScript error. I tried reinstalling the app but it didn't help either. Our internet connection is okay and the app also works well on my phone. What could be the solution for this?

I suggest you can also try the following methods:

Deleting the %AppData% and %LocalAppData% files will reset the application settings and may resolve the JavaScript error that is preventing you from opening the application.

Here's how to delete these folders:

Launch Windows Explorer and click on This PC, then navigate to the following location:

C:\Users\%username%\AppData\<app>

If you don't see the AppData folder, you may need to open the options that allow you to view hidden files and folders.

Delete the app folder in the AppData folder.

Next, press the Windows key + R key to bring up the "Run" dialog. Type in the environment variable below and press Enter.

In the opened folder, locate the problematic application folder, right-click on it, and then click Delete.

Make sure the folder is completely deleted and there are no remaining files inside. Check if the "JavaScript error occurred in the main process" still appears after restarting the computer and launching the application.

Re-register JavaScript files

Registering JavaScript DLL files using the built-in Regsvr.exe might be helpful.

To do this, open the command prompt as an administrator, type the following, and press Enter:

regsvr32 jscript.dll file

If you still encounter such errors, you can reinstall this application.
