Windows 10: Why do I have a black screen that says recycle bin in c:/ is corrupt

Can’t get into my computer because it has a black screen saying that the recycle bin on c:/ is corrupted. Do you want to empty the recycle bin for this drive? Yes No How can I fix this ?

Recycle Bin on C Corrupted

I went to turn on my computer (windows 10) and the sign on screen looked weird (no picture) so I clicked where my password should go and the error message "The Recycle Bin on C:\ is corrupted Do you want to empty the recycle bin for this drive?" appeared...And
I am now frozen in this mode. I tried Ctrl Alt Enter and Ctrl Alt Del hard reboot doesn't work either. Any suggestions?

A message has come up on my laptop, there is a black screen with the message saying "recycle bin on c drive is corrupt do you want to empty it?". I try to click yes/no but it doesn't do anything. I turn the laptop off and then on again but it goes straight
back to the message. What can I do?

To prevent your files from being deleted from the Recycle Bin, we suggest increasing the maximum file size your Recycle Bin can keep by following the steps below:

• Right click on the Recycle Bin icon.
• Under the Settings for selected location, select Custom size.
• Fill up the box for your allotted maximum file size for your Recycle Bin.
