Windows 10: Why do I have consistently low shrink space

I wanted to shrink my ssd to a smaller size, so I went to shrink it in disk management, and it would only let me do 8gb. I had plenty of space free, and I tried to disable paging, and hibernate, and even completely wiped my computer and started from a fresh installation of windows but I still only have 8996 mb available to shrink. Why is this happening?

Scroll down to list of revisions. Die shrinks are not consumer relevant with consoles. They bring no performance changes because consistency is the entire point of them. Unless you're batshit crazy Nintendo that is, then you get the "new 3DS" half step BS.

Low Disk Space

I am getting a LOW DISK SPACE warning for local e: disk. I have tried using Disk Management to shrink c: to add to e: but that does not work. Created an unallocated space. How do I correct and get rid of the warning?
