Windows 10: Why do I have to press Sticky Notes twice to open it?

I press Sticky Notes and the pin opens up on the taskbar but when I press the pin, nothing shows up. I then have to close it out and open Sticky Notes again and THEN it shows. Not a big deal to do but I want to know why it won't just open on first click. EVERY Windows 10 computer i use does this and idk why

Sticky Note Missing

1.- Open >> Sticky notes, when located on the taskbar (Right click on the option) >> Select: List of Notes, now check if your note is in that list.

Sticky Notes is one of the default programs for Windows 10. Type Sticky Notes in the search box, then press enter. If you are encountering an error opening Sticky Notes, we recommend resetting the application. Follow the steps below:

• Open Settings.
  
• Click Apps, then Apps & features in the left pane.
  
• Locate Sticky Notes, then click Advanced options.
  
• Click Reset.

Sticky Note Error?

Hi,

To further help you with your concern about the sticky note, we suggest using System File Checking in Windows 10. Kindly follow the steps below:

• Right-click (or press and hold) the Start button, then select Command Prompt (Admin)
• Enter sfc /scannow (note the space between "sfc" and "/").
