  1. Why do I have very low level sound output from my Acer TC1785?

I have upgraded from a Medion Desktop to an Acer TC1785 Desktop. The PC itself works OK but plugging in the headphones from the Medion into the Acer results in an audio signal thar is almost in audible. Acer say it is not their fault. Can anybody help.

  2. sound level on the sound system

    Hi

    Welcome to Microsoft community.

You can customize the sound level for individual applications through the Volume Mixer. Here's how you can access it:

    1. Right-click on the Volume icon in the taskbar (usually located in the bottom right corner) and select "Open Volume Mixer."
    2. A Volume Mixer window will open, displaying a list of all the applications that are currently producing sound.
    3. Find the application for which you want to customize the sound level and adjust the corresponding slider to increase or decrease the volume for that specific application.
    4. You can also click on the speaker icon below the slider to mute or unmute the sound for that application.
    5. Repeat these steps for any other applications you want to customize the sound level for.
By adjusting the volume levels for individual applications in the Volume Mixer, you can have more control over the sound output on your laptop.

    Best regards

    sound level is too low

My sound level is too low. I'm at 100%, and the "Volume Mixer" shows that everything is at 100%. I'm listening to classical music, but still it's not normal that I don't get hurt at 100%. What can I do to get a normal sound level ?

    sound level is too low

I installed mp3gain. One test file went from 78 to 89db. Classical music is so low volume because of large dynamic range. I use quality earbuds ("beats"). Windows 10.0.19045 Build 19045 - - - Updated - - - But it's still an issue. Using an Hauptwerk organ with asio4all, the softer sounds are too low level at 100%. Fortunately, in Hauptwerk, there's a "Speaker level adjust dB" settings.
