    Why do I keep getting a "bad image" error


    This all started a month ago, the PC displayed a "bad image" error with EVERY app I open, even Microsoft apps have the issue, sometimes the apps will launch and give the error at the same time and other times the app will only launch once you click "ok" on every message that had popped up. The error pops of most every individual process an app runs, for example, if I open chrome it will pop a few up, however, a more heavy app like steam will spam me with at least 50 messages of the same "bad image" error. I tried to do a system check and it did find corrupt files and repaired them but the issu

    • What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?
    • Since when are you experiencing the issue?
    • Is it still an ongoing issue on your computer?

    Why do I keep getting a "bad image" error [​IMG]
    Hi

    I updated my Mozy backup software 3 days ago & ever since then my ASUS laptop is unusable. Once it boots up, which takes more then an hour, every task I ask takes many minutes to over an hour to complete. I also get an error message "Bad Image"? The first bad image was related to Chrome so I uninstalled Chrome but that did not help & now I am getting a "Bad Image" error related to "iCloudPhoto.exe". I tried to uninstall iCloud but was unsuccessful. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

    PS: I did a factory reset so please ignore this.
