    Why do I keep getting notifications that my hot mail account settings are out of date?


    Hi , every couple days for the past few months I get notifications that my hot mail account settings are out of date. I'm prompted to do the following ~ go to Settings/Notifications, Shared Experiences. Then under Accounts I click FIX NOW and it says Windows security making sure it's you. We need to verify your

    In order to help you with the appropriate troubleshooting steps, please reply with the following information:



    • When do you receive the notification?
    • In which application are you receiving the notification?


    If you are receiving the notification in Mail App, I suggest you to refer the troubleshooting steps in the article

    Your account settings are out-of-date in Mail or Calendar for Windows 10     and see if that helps in resolving the issue.

    Endless notifications for 'Google account settings out of date'

    Re first step - the troubleshooter does not identify any issues to fix.

    Re second - I only have MBAM and Windows Defender installed. I have tried disabling MBAM, clicking on the 'out of date' notification, entering my Google account details again and allowing Mail to sync - approximately 15 seconds later Mail popped up another
    notification about account settings being out of date.

    i am getting a notification that my yahoo account settings are out of date. i see where i might have tried to use windows mail with my yahoo account without using outlook.com. how can i delete all information from yahoo mail so i won't keep getting these
