Windows 10: Why Do I Keep getting "Parameter Incorrect" error for Windows Apps, Services acting...

Hi, Forgive my anger in this post - but I am livid. It seems that every so often, as of late, every other day or so that I find my Windows 11 Home Premium PC on the fritz. Without warning, I'll get errors such as "Parameter Incorrect" when I access any Windows Apps such as Notepad, iTunes, you know - the most rudimentary and basic functions of the PC. These errors always occur at some point, and there is little to no solution, leaving me to always be in a loop wherein I have to set aside hours of time that I'd spend otherwise catering to these stupid errors. The error "This Parameter is incorrect" usually happens because of a system or disk errors. To isolate this issue, we suggest running CHKDSK using the command prompt. Running CHKDSK
can check the integrity of a hard disk and can repair various file system errors. To run CHKDSK follow these steps:

• Plug in external hard drive, USB drive or memory card to the computer.
• Press Windows Key + X and then select Command Prompt (Admin).
• In the Command Prompt window, type chkdsk E: /f /r. You should replace E with the drive letter of your external hard drive or external device.
• Restart your PC once the process is done.

Thanks for the suggestion, but no Excel installed (nor any plan to). Not sure how or if that would handle all subfolders, or how long the process would take, but I don't use Excel for anything, and can't see installing a bulky Office app on the system. The
other downside I think *may* exist, would be that I'd have to either export all the data to a file, else use Excel each time a search is required.

Looks like maybe I can use a batch job to build a list of all folders and subfolders, then independently list the files of interest within each folder into a single file. That should eliminate whatever causes the odd "parameter is incorrect" error.
