Windows 10: Why do I keep getting the Something's gone wrong message while trying to log onto my att&t...

I've changed my AT&T email password 5 time within the past couple days!! Every time that I try to log in, it first have to log me out. Then I get this message: "SOMETHING'S GONE WRONG" One day I'm allowed to log on, then the next day...same shit all over again!! This is getting to be exhausting!! I'm locked out of this account on my laptop, desktop and android phone!! These self proclaimed experts in Microsoft Community have no clue of how to resolve this issue!! Unable to "get media content" from text messages.

My Nokia 920 on ATT was showing this exact error "getting media content" for a long time... finally spent a chunk of time attempting all suggestions above...

FIXED:

1. Created New MMS APN (steps here: Setup Guide for AT&T APN Settings Windows Phone & MMS Settings )
   • still didn't work
2. Deleted MMS APN
3. Group messages started working!! No more "getting media content", it just shows up.

Note: Didn't help

- WiFi on/off

- Back up text on/off

- Group text on/off

- Data on/off

 

Why did the startup window get cleared?

I didn't missed any step, the list was gone and gone , even after using lot of programs the programs were not listed in that list.

 

unlocked ATT Lumia 820, no T-Mobile signal

I just got my Lumia 820 ATT unlocked, I got the 20 digits unlock code from ATT customer service. I unlocked the phone and inserted a T-Mobile SIM card. What I found out is that, most of the time, I get "no service" in many areaes including my home. I know
from others that T-Mobile signal is very strong in our area.



I know the phone is unlocked because I get signal and can make calls in some areas.



I talked to the guys at T-Mobile and one guy said that an unlocked ATT phone will not work for all bands for other carrier's network and that there is no fix for that.



Anyone experience the same? Any ideas or suggestions?
