Windows 10: Why do I keep getting the welcome setup screen for windows 11 after I've been using it for...

I keep getting the setup screen asking me to customize my Windows experience, etc. I've already been using my laptop with Windows 11 for many months. It's the screen you get when you first buy Windows 11. This is very annoying.

The touch keyboard is missing in the Windows 11 setup screens

Microsoft is aware of a known issue in Windows 11, version 22H2, that causes the touch keyboard to not appear in the Windows 11 setup screens after resetting Windows. Microsoft is currently working on a solution that will be released in an upcoming Windows update.

If you experience this issue, there are two options that will let you work around this issue. You can either:

1. Connect your device to a physical keyboard to complete Windows Setup, or
   
2. You can choose to shut down your device and restart Windows. The touch keyboard should appear after restarting.

The Norton drivers are gone. Please try the following:

After rebooting:

• Delete the "C:\$WINDOWS.~BT" folder.
  
• Re-run the Windows 11 setup. In the initial screen, click “Change how Setup downloads updates”, and click "Not right now".
  
• Follow the on-screen instructions and finish the upgrade.

I have Windows 11, version 22H2, installed on my tablet PC. Since it’s a tablet, I use the touch keyboard to type directly on the touchscreen.



I needed to reset Windows, and now I’m going through Windows setup screens, however the touch keyboard isn’t appearing in the setup screens this time. As a result, I can’t enter a password on the “Let’s connect you to a network” screen to proceed to the next step.
