Why do i need to enter my password everytime i want to connect to my wifi ? i tried uninstalling the network driver but the issue is still not solved

Can’t connect to wifi with correct password or WPS

I'm setting up a mini PC and for the wifi setup it has a comfast wifi adapter, I was unable to connect to my wifi using my password but was able to connect using the WPS button on the modem. Wifi was working fine for a few hours. I stepped away from the PC and when I returned wifi was disconnected. Trying the WPS button didn't work this time and I was prompted to enter the wifi password. When I enter it I get the verifying and connecting message but then i get can't connect to this network message. I am entering the correct password but it is not connecting.

I have tried the following:

1. Update the network drivers
   
2. Retart my modem and PC
   
3. Connect via WPS button again
   

 

i do not want my computer to connect to wifi without entering a password

still no password needed. need to enter password everytime I connect to wifi.

 

Phone won't connect if I change wifi password

I'm sure I had tried that. Anyway, I did it again (deleted the connection, changed wifi password, did a wifi search, inputted new password) and it didn't work.
It connects only if I change the password back to the original one, even though after doing the above I have to type the old password manually.
