Windows 10: Why do I not have Microsoft Defender Antivirus on my windows ?

Hello everyone, I hope you all are doing great.So my PC clearly have a problem, since I can't enable the Microsoft Antivirus defender, it says page not found. I watched some videos on youtube on how to fix this, some suggested to go to group policies and to do something in the Windows Defender file or microsoft Defender file but I didn't even find it there. I do not even have Microsoft Defender on my Whole PC. Help me please.

Defender AntiVirus

There are 4 options under Defender. Two refer to AntiVirus; AntiVirus Network Inspection Service & AntiVirus Services. Under Startup Type these two are listed as manual and the Status column said Inspection Service is running. When I clicked on the Start
button in Properties, I got an immediate message: "Win.. Def.. Anti.. Serv.. on local comp.. started and then stopped. Some services stop automatically if they are not in use by other services or programs."

Microsoft Defender VS Microsoft Defender Antivirus?

Today, I uninstalled the Microsoft Defender app on my device.

However, in Windows Security > Virus & threat protection > Security providers, Microsoft Defender Antivirus is listed as my Antivirus.

When I click on "Open app" for Microsoft Defender Antivirus, it just redirects me to Windows Security > Virus & threat protection.

1. Is Microsoft Defender Antivirus different from the Microsoft Defender app?

2. Is my device still being protected?

For context, I do not have any third party antivirus programs installed on my device right now,

and I never signed into the Microsoft Defender app with my Microsoft account,

nor do I have a Microsoft 365 subscription.
