Windows 10: Why do Microsoft features and programs suck so much?

I have had two major issues with Microsoft programs functions? this past month alone. One: I have tried using OneDrive to share travel photos with a friend, and it took us so long to figure out simple log in and to be able to share photos with one another. I could not add any albums or photos on my own account, but for some reason, she was able to. Clicking add album shows a blank screen with a button to add photos, but the button is defunct and doesn't actually work. Two: Today, I thought I would try to link my phone to my laptop to easily share photos between devices. Instead, I have waste

Why are built-in programs starting to show up in Programs and Features

After last month's Windows Updates, I noticed Remote Desktop was listed under Programs and Features as an uninstallable program. After this month's updates, Paint is now listed. Is Microsoft rolling out some new OS unbundling strategy one step at a time or something?

 

Microsoft signals end of Paint program

Microsoft has confirmed that it will continue to offer its graphics program Paint.

In a recent update, it had listed Paint as a feature that would be either removed or no longer developed.

Paint, renowned for its simplicity, has been part of the Windows operating system since its launch in 1985.

Microsoft suggested it would not remain on Windows 10 by default but did say it would be available for free on the Windows Store.

Microsoft edge is disappearing from programs and features

Microsoft Edge is listed on my 'Programs and Features' list. Sorry I can't show a snapshot of it, (don't know how to do it, yet) but it is listed on my PC.
