Windows 10: Why do my games display the desktop even though I am inside the game itself.

I have a problem with my computer, if I full screen a game it displays the desktop and not the actual game itself even though it says I am inside the game, Though, this only happens to some games/applications, I can confirm it is not the game itself since I had full screened it before without any issue whatsoever, it does not have any error message and I cannot screenshot it because it wont let me, I have tried various things to fix this, like adjusting my display settings to the recommended size and updating my drivers, but none of them seems to work, I also tried searching this problem in th

If yes, let us try to reinstall the game and check if the issue persist.

Follow the step:

• Press the Windows key on your keyboard, or select the
  Windows icon in the lower-left corner of the desktop screen.
• Select All apps, and then find your game in the list.
• Press and hold the game tile, and then select
  Uninstall. Alternatively, you can right-click the game tile and then select
  Uninstall.
• Follow the steps to uninstall the game.

To reinstall your game, open the Store app, and then select the profile button.

If the game is installed and you are playing from the desktop, the issue might be caused due to compatibility of the game with Windows 10. I suggest you to install the game in compatibility mode by following the steps provided below and check if it helps.
