Windows 10: Why do my gateway laptop keep saying “update on the way please keep computer turned on” but...

I just had bought the computer but I guess there was a update coming out for windows 11 so I let it update over night on the charger when I woke up it kept saying. “UPDATE ON THE WAY PLEASE DONT TURN OFF COMPUTER” but then it restarts itself basically turning it self off and it’s been doing that the past couple days since then

I just bought the P 7811FX. I can't say I've tested it yet with anything, bc I have not. I'm merely putting all of my programs on it this morning.

Anyways, if you go to gateway.com they list is msrp as 1399.00. If you choose to purchase it, Gateway links you to Bestbuy.com

Best Buy lists the laptop at 1449.00, a 50.00 difference.

I noted this to my rep at Best Buy and he changed it to the Gateway msrp.

So keep this in mind, if you want to save 50.00!

 

Computer works on updates every time it is turned on

Every time I turn my laptop on, it says it is working on updates and works on this for a while before turning on. It does this everytime the computer is turned on and online I can only really find suggestions that say to turn automatic updates off which
I have always had off, so any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
