Windows 10: Why do my passwords keep disappearing when I turn off computer?

I have 3 browsers. Edge, Firefox, and Chrome. All three require me to enter my password at sites like Amazon and go through a 2-step verification. Or when I have to sign in using Google, I have to use my cell phone to ID myself.It's a lot of annoyance and never happened before. I could just go to the site, like Amazon, sign in using the password and go. Now I have to get verifications and codes. Even when I check "do not require a code with this browser" on sites like AMAZ it still requires I use my cell phone.Something happened to my O/S IMO and whenever I turn off the computer and star

You can reset your password following the next steps:

• Reboot your computer / Turn your computer on.
• Hold down the Shift key at the start of the boot process to enable the GNU GRUB boot menu (if it does not show)
• Press ESC at the GNU GRUB prompt.
• Press e for edit.
• Use the Arrow keys to highlight the line that begins with kernel and press the e key.
• Go to the very end of the line and add rw init=/bin/bash
• Press Enter and then press b to boot your system.
• Your system will boot up to a passwordless root shell.
• Type in passwd yourusername
• Set your new password.
• Restart your system.

To turn off the password requirement on your Windows 10 PC, you can switch to a local account. Here are the steps to do so:

1. Click on the Windows icon and then the Settings icon.
   
2. Click on Accounts and then on Sign in with a local account instead.
   
3. Enter your existing password and click OK.
   
4. Enter your local username and leave the password fields empty.
   
5. Click on Next and then on Sign out and finish.
   

Alternatively, you can disable the password requirement by unchecking the “Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer” option in netplwiz. Here are the steps to do so:

1. Press the Windows key + R to open the Run dialog box.
   
2. Type “netplwiz” and click OK.
   
3. Uncheck the box next to “Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer”.
   
4. Click OK.
   
5. Enter your username and password and click OK.
   

Please note that disabling the password requirement may pose a security risk. If you decide to proceed, make sure to take other security measures to protect your device and data.

  Click on Users and account
  
• 
  Open Sign-in options and tap the
  Change button under Password.
  
• 
  Enter the current password and click Next.
  
• 
  There you can remove the pin password
