    why do my pc dont open something and use 6 gigs of 8 gigs ram


    when i try to open the search bar or the windows thingy when i click the windows icon or the search bar it doesnt open it does nothing and i use 6 gigs of 8 gigs ram what can the problems be?

    4 gig or 8 gig

    Guys as title suggests this is what I'm struggling with for My next build coming up quick. Any body have experience running 8 gig. Otherwise any thoughts, suggestions or ideas?

    4 gig or 8 gig

    go with 4 gigs. 8 gigs is overkill unless you are doing heavy duty video rendering or server apps for thousands of people. you may say that with 8 gigs you are future proofing, but that only applies if you dont plan on replacing the build with something in the next 8 years. 4 gigs will last you 3 years and by then you will most definately want a brand new rig!
