    Why do my Pinned Start Menu Items disappear?


    Every few months, all my pinned Start Menu items disappear and are replaced with a "Productivity" group.I mean literally every 2-3 months over a period of 4-5 years. Someone must know why this happens.Someone must know how to make it stop.It is sending me up the wall.For info, none of the stock cut-and-paste textbook responses will serve any purpose here:The resource checker found no "integrity violations".The depolyment tool said the operation completed sucessfully, but didn't tell me what the
