Windows 10: Why do my updates keep failing?/can't opt out of insider preview

Hello, I am doing regular updates on windows 10 and then all of a sudden they are just straight out failing now. I also can't opt out of insider preview even though I turned on the "stop getting preview builds option". The error code for the update is 0x80248007

I am using windows 10 enterprise edition. I opted insider preview build. now I want to opted out from this. so I have selected opted out after next window release. But I was busy so I forgot to update fall creator update. now it's showing insider preview
update 17025. Can I update to fall creator update after updating 17025. I have windows 10 update assistant.

 

Opt Out of Windows Insider Preview

I recently joined the windows insider preview under first ring. Because of the constant updates i switched to slow ring and then opted out of the insider preview. My question is that now that i have opted out, will i still continue to receive stable preview
builds up until the final version of windows 20H1 is released or will I be forced to revert back to the windows version 1909?.

I only ask because I do not want to install the OS again as it is time consuming for me.

 

Insider Preview Opt out permanently

I am on build 10565, and I want to permanently opt out of Insider preview builds.

Under Advanced update options, if I click on Stop Insider Preview builds. it gives me a pop-up window. There is a link inside the window to 'Stop receiving Insider Preview builds' which redirects to here - Join the Windows Insider Program and manage Insider settings - Microsoft Support

This page advises the user to go to advanced options and click on Stop Insider preview. Stuck in loop here. Can someone please help?

Also, is there a way to go back to 10240 from 10565?
