Windows 10: Why do my wallpapers always look so blurry on desktop?

No matter what image i download in 1920x1080 which is my natural resolution, the wallpaper always becomes blurry when i set it as desktop and doesnt maintain High definition.

Hey there,

There's another method I'd suggest. PNG files will not get blurry when transcoded for wallpaper use.

1. Go to where your picture is stored. Right-click the picture file, choose "Open with" and pick Paint.
   
2. Choose File, point to "Save as" and pick the PNG option on the right side.
   
   Save your file as this PNG option using any name you like.
   
3. Close Paint
   
4. Right-click the new PNG version, and choose "Set as desktop background"

 

The wallpaper always comes out blurry.

When you said the wallpaper comes out blurry, Is the picture blurry when the
file is opened or on the Desktop, when the picture is set as wallpaper?

You can download the wallpapers pictures and set it as your wallpaper. Please refer to the below link to manage your wallpaper settings.( Consider changing the
choose a fit option to make the picture more clear);

My wallpaper is always blurry

Okay so, every time i put a new wallpaper they are always blurry. I was wondering if anybody would be able to help me find decent ones that are still nice but not blurry, and also not just plain color. I am a 15 year old so I want my wallpaper to still look nice while not having a blurry wallpaper. | I like ones of pinterest like the laptop dividers but theyre usually blurry either way.
