Windows 10: Why do my window sizes not save properly?

    Why do my window sizes not save properly?


    I get quite annoyed by this, I'm using Windows 10 and my window sizes never save properly. I like to keep them down to about 30-50% of the screen size when i press restore down, but even when i do this, they always seem to go to full screen size again. It can be frustrating because I can't even resize them, as the task bar is in the way, so I need to move the task bar, resize the window, the move it back. And I turned off the feature that lets you drag windows out of full size, thinking that was what was causing it, but it didn't help...Is this just a bug? Or is this intended and there's some

    Follow the steps to change the font size:

    • Click on "Windows logo" and select "Settings".
    • Select "System".
    • You can change the font size here.

    Follow the steps to go to Control Panel:

    • Type "Control Panel" in the search bar.
    • Select "Control Panel" from suggestions.

    This issue might occur if webpage is not saved properly.

    To assist you better, please provide us the information below:

    • When you say that "1 suggestion was ctrl s the n ctrl a", how exactly have you tried to used the keyboard command for saving the webpages?

    I suggest you to follow the steps to save the webpage on the computer and check if it helps.

    1. Open the Microsoft Edge browser.

    2. Right click on the webpage link and then click on Save target as
    and then save the webpage.

    Save Window Position

    Hi Shane,

    Saving the window size/position when opening a message to a new window is easy. Simply follow the steps below on how to do so:

    • Open a message in a new window.
    • Press and hold the Ctrl button on your keyboard and click on the
      X button at upper right corner of the window to close it.
    • When you open a message in another window, the size/position of the window should be saved.
