Why do Sign in Options keep changing seemingly randomly?

On my main computer, seemingly at random, the sign in options will change. Specifically, the option "If you've been away for a while, when should Windows require you to sign in again?" will keep changing from "When PC wakes up from sleep" to "Never". I never change this setting, so I am curious why it keeps changing on its own or what is changing it and if it is possible to stop this behavior. It would be nice to stop this from happening so I don't have to keep changing the setting back.

    :)
