Windows 10: Why do some people get blocked for saying something and others who say the SAME thing but...

I was on an article about solar flares warning someone to NOT waste themselves with drugs and liquor and those words somehow blocked me. I said 'Don't do the drugs and liquor as you'll need to be aware for critical thinking' yet they said drugs and liquor just fine without getting 'Oops something went wrong'. The AI in this is very weird and creepy. I don't like it and can't understand how so many do. Do you guys REALLY enjoy being randomly blocked and banging your head against the same stupid wall over and over? I'm tired of it. Look at all the bruises on my head?XXXx

Vista not as bad as people say

I'm saying it's just as bad as XP. There are people out there that haven't ever had a problem with XP just same as there are people that haven't had a problem with Vista. There are even some people that don't understand what all the fuss was about WinME.

But there are plenty more people that have to put up with daily crashes and application hangs. It's totally a guess but I'd bet that the number of people that have trouble with Vista isn't any smaller than the number of people that have trouble with XP.

So, my original question was how is Vista better? Most responses are just that it isn't bad. There are a few that cite a particular case where one app or another runs faster but I don't think enough have been listed to say, ahh, ya, I get it- Vista is better.

I'm saying it's the same crap as the last one and things don't show any sign of improving.

 

Windows Defender is blocking too much saying it viruses

Based on the screenshot that you've provided, Controlled Folder Access is turned on, blocking most apps that you're using. We suggest that you turn it off to allow blocked apps in Windows Defender. Follow the steps below:

• Select Start > Settings.
• Choose Update & security > Windows Defender.
• Select Open Windows Defender Security Center.
• Select Virus & threat protection, and then choose Virus & threat protection settings.
• Under Controlled folder access, turn it on or off.
• Once done, try accessing the apps and see if you can now access them.

Cortana . . . Asking me to say things

I have a problem with Cortana. How do I get this "all knowing" app to realize
I don't have a microphone, so it will stop asking me to say things?

Every friggin time I login the idiot app' shows up asking, "Say this . . . " or "Say that . . .!" I would think since it runs on Windows 10 and I AM RUNNING Windows 10, they'd have programmed some sense into it. Siri works fine on Apple's iPhone, but note
the Siri app' is NOT present on the Apple OS's.

It's time for Microsoft to realize a desktop PC is NOT a Phone. Oh, and by the way, I did try uninstalling Cortana, but guess what? I lost the ability to search for things, had to repair Windows and start over, so don't suggest it.
