Windows 10: Why do some peripherals improperly show up as "Other devices" in the Windows 10 Device Manager?

Devices that have worked well for years suddenly disappeared from the Windows Explorer. I opened the Device Manager and found them improperly listed under "Other devices":The warning signs indicate that no driver is available for this device none should be needed!.Clues: 1 Some USB thumb drives work properly and others don't; for instance, a SanDisk 16 GB thumb drive works perfectly, whereas a 16 GB Toshiba comes up as shown in the above screen shot. 2 The first "unknown device" has a hardware ID "ACPI\VEN_PNP&DEV_0C0B". 3 The DYMO device works fine, whereas the Sony, Sabrent and T

device manager not showing correct cpu

this one has me confused, .When i look in device manage under processors it is still showing my old q8200 cpu and ive upgraded to the q9650. why would it not show this in device manager? , The bios shows it, cpuiz shows the q9650, the vista basic information shows it but not under device manager/ should I be concerned about this ? any ideas would be great thanx Dragon

 

No hardware listed in Device manager?

I don't konw whathappend but in Device manager and in my Network connections there is nothing where there used to be a Modem listed and all my hardware in Device Manager. What happend and how do I fix this?

 

unknown usb device (device descriptor request failed) windows 10

Im presuming its hidden where show non present devices registry entry is needed. Ive had weirdness with usb myself in Win 7.
