Windows 10: why do tweak programmes offer driver updates that don't exist

Glary and CCleaner both try to persuade me to update to their paid versions to get updates to various drivers, that they've identified as available. Windows Update always tells me I have the latest versions of these drivers. And I've never been able to find them by searching myself. Clearly I don't need them in any practical way - because everything works fine. But I'm puzzled. Is there something I should bve doing?Why do the programmes tell me to update to these later drivers when nothing else seems to think I should? Apart from them wanting my money, of course.

Thanks, have heard this before...is their a step by step procedure to OC using the bios settings you suggest.
i don’t intend pushing this to its limit...but some increase would be great, any suggestions on a good air cooler ?

• Did you make any changes prior to this issue?
• When you say programmes, which programs are you exactly referring to?

Meanwhile, I suggest you to run the
System Maintenance troubleshooter and check if it helps.

Follow the below steps:

• Type troubleshooting in the search bar.
• Select Troubleshooting.
• Select View all on the top left corner.
• Click on System Maintenance.
• Follow the on-screen instructions to run the troubleshooter.
