Windows 10: Why do updates KB5013889 and KB5015882 continually fail to install?

These updates repeatedly fails to install and then uninstall themselves after restarting. The KB5013889 error code is consistently 0x8007007eFor KB5015882 the error code 0x80248007 was repeated 3 times and 0x80073712 once.Dell Inspiron 5570 Laptop Configuration:Windows 11 Pro v21H2 installed 27/12/21, build KB5015882, Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.22000.613.0.IntelR CoreTM i7-8550U CPU @ 1.80GHz 1.99 GHz64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

Update KB5015882 continuously fails installing

Hi Sumit,

I just checked, the KB5015882 is now found in the optional tab, and a new update has now appeared in the Windows Update - KB5015814, which it tried to download and install but it failed.













KB5014697 was installed 2022-06-15

I just did step one and they have just all installed.... thank you so much.... it was quite frustrating having that update window pop up every 5 minutes and failing to instal every time

Windows 11 July 21 Update KB5015882 fails to install (Error code: 0x800f0922)

Hello,

I'm trying to install the most recent Windows 11 update (KB5015882). The update downloads and begins to install and restarts my computer. After the restart the installation continues until it reaches 96%. Then it fails with the message "Something didn't go as planned. Don't worry we are undoing changes." When checking the WIndows Update activity, I see error code 0x800f0922.

I'm running an x64 AMD rig.

Any ideas on how I can fix this? Or should I just wait this update out?
