Windows 10: Why do Windows 10 updates ALWAYS remove old versions of Solitaire?

My 88 year old mother loves the old version of Solitaire from Winaero I have installed on her PC. But every single windows update rips it from her PC. Why??? What does MS care if she uses the old version as the new version sucks?

Doesn't MS realize that trying to shove their "new" stuff like this and Edge and Bing on users that it only makes users despise Microsoft even more? If you want people to use Edge, Bing and others, make them work as well if not better than their competitors.

Lost my old version of Spider Solitaire in Windows 10

I recently upgraded TO Windows10 FROM Windows7 and in the process lost my old version of Spider Solitaire. I've tried everything but can't restore it. ANY SUGGESTIONS?
