Windows 10: Why do Windows Removes the Copilot Button after Update KB5043145

Today I installed the New 2024-09 Cumulative Update Preview for Windows 11 Version 23H2 for x64-based Systems KB5043145 but after the update, I realized that the copilot button right of my taskbar was removed. I searched my Windows settings and looked in the system files, but I still couldn't find it.

During to this blog post they remove this feature if your computer is not a Copilot+ computer.

Why isn’t copilot button working

I've tried everything you suggested but the Copilot button is still not responding. This issue started to occur after I installed the update Build 23601 and opened and closed the copilot pane a few times. (After installing the update Copilot is working but after using copilot a few times it stopped opening.) Also, there is no Copilot task in the task manager, just a "Microsoft Edge Copilot pane renderer." I closed that task, and after clicking on the Copilot button again, the task does not reappear.

 

None of the methods to disable Copilot work, can't even hide it
