    Why do windows updates reset device manager configurations.


    If I disable built in hardware on my machine via device manager I expect it to stay disabled, yet every damned time you launch a massive update for this god awful version of windows 11 it entirely resets the devices enabling anything that was disabled so can you please explain why you are making my life so difficult by doing this every time which then destroys my audio setup as I am a musician, which then requires me removing all my Bluetooth devices, rebooting the system, disabling the onboard Bluetooth, rebooting again, then re-installing my Bluetooth hardware and devices.You have no such

    Imaging Devices missing in Device Manager and Webcam doesn't working

    Hi,

    Since you mentioned that the said driver is missing in Device Manager, what we suggest is for you to check in the Hidden Devices section on Device Manager. Kindly follow the steps below:

    • On the desktop, press Windows key + X and select
      Device Manager.
    • Click on View and select
      Show Hidden Devices.
    • Check for the webcam under Imaging Devices.
    • If the webcam is listed, then right-click on it and select
      Update Driver Software
    • Select Browse My Computer for Driver Software and follow the prompted steps.
    Please post back with the result for further assistance
