Windows 10: Why do you keep pestering everyone with your welcome screen after updates?

Why does Microsoft keep pestering users with the welcome screen after updates. We are repeatedly forced to answer the stupid welcome form and questions. I am sick of it. The only stupid reason for the "welcome" screen is to push 365, I already use microsoft office so why keep ticking me off making stupid offers and forcing me to repeatedly to decline. Leave us alone and quit trying to get everyone to use 365. Stop barfing your stupid welcome screen all over users!!!!!!This time I even had to log in with a mic

win 10 update leaves vertical pink line on screen

today i applied latest win 10 update and now i have a vertical pink line on screen, it remains on every screen. i have tried these fixes

Step 1: I suggest you to run SFC scan,
System File Checkeris a utility in Windows that allows users to scan for corruptions in Windows system files and restore corrupted files.

Follow the below steps:

• Right click on the Start button, click on
  Command Prompt (Admin).
• Type “sfc /scannow” without the quotes and hit
  Enter.
• After the scan, restart the computer and check for the issue.

Step 2: Also, I suggest you to update the display drivers and check.

Steps to Update the Display Adapter driver.

• Press Windows key + Xkey when you are at desktop.
• Select Device Manager.
• Expand Display Adapter.
• Right on the Display Adapter and click on
  Update driver software

BUT i still have the line on screen.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.
