    Why does a cmd prompt open when I open my laptop


    When I open my laptop, a cmd prompt opens with a address such "C:/Users/91785/Locals/Updates/WindowsService.exe"Why does this happen and how do I fix it? Note it happens only once.Does this affect the speed of my laptop?

    .txt will open open in Command Prompt

    I don't know why but no matter what I do .txt will only open in CMD prompt and I have right click and go to open with every time which is annoying cause I use .txts a lot for noting stuff down in.

    Cannot open cmd prompt in admin mode

    I am using win 10 pro. My initial problem is I cannot display list of wifi networks. I cannot open cmd prompt in admin mode. I've used all the trouble shooting steps on this site and nothing works. Short of throwing this PC out the window is there anything
    else I can try?

    command prompt will not open in safe mode with command prompt

    I am repairing a laptop for a friend and I need to access windows in safe mode and the owner has forgotten the password to the main user. I tried logging on with the administrator profile in safe mode but it is not showing up so I was going to use command prompt in safe mode with command prompt but command prompt will not open when I boot that option. Does anyone have any hints for me to figure this out?
