Windows 10: why does cmd /c start "" d:\ fail to show tabs and address bar

I use the command prompt and enter, cmd /c start "" d:\ which will open my d: drive but this can be any folder. Then after closing d: and re-running the command, say, 3 or 4 times it will eventually fail to show the top portion of the window. It will show the files etc. but not the tab or the address bar.I can easily repeat this. I'm running win 11 with all the latest updates.This does not happen in windows 10.While I can cause this problem as described above, it is most annoying when I run the command from a program I wrote that uses that command to open multiple file explorer windows, rear

Go to Internet Options, click Autocomplete Settings in Content tab, tick "Suggesting URLs" box and click OK.

 

Add a button to the address bar.

I would like to add the Zoom button to my new Edge address bar. Have found the following how to do it on the web but they don't work like the instructions say.

1. Open Microsoft Edge.
2. Click the Settings and more menu button on the top-right corner. (I assume that is the three dots in a row)
3. Select the Show in toolbar sub-menu. (Don't see 'Show in toobar)
4. Click the action button that you want to add or remove from the toolbar.

Firefox 91.0 ESR how to disable Show search suggestions in address bar

Click on "Change settings for other address bar suggestions" and untick these.
