why does copilot only open on my main monitor?

I have attached a imgur link to a screenshot of my desktop. I am clicking the co pilot button on that second monitor as the co pilot is clearly telling me in the response in the screenshot. however as the screenshot clearly shows EXCLUSIVELY opens in the main monitor. I guess my main question is why is copilot out here lying? https://imgur.com/a/tBfRHap

    :)

None of the methods to disable Copilot work, can't even hide it

I suggest you post your question in the tutorial thread to find out if Brink or the other tutorial participants can help you Enable or Disable Copilot - TenForumsTutorials Best of luck, Denis

Taskbar Disappears After Copilot is Opened

    Hello Abdullah,

I did as you asked but the taskbar still disappeared after I clicked on the Copilot icon to open it up. Once again, I had to toggle the auto-hide taskbar option to get it back. I almost mentioned it the first time, but I am running with two monitors. My main monitor is where I clicked the Copilot icon and opened it and it is also where my taskbar disappears. The taskbar remains visible on my second monitor if that means anything.

EDIT: Just for the heck of it I tried launching Copilot from the second monitor instead; but because the Copilot window/sidebar cannot be physically moved to the second monitor, Copilot still opened on the main monitor and the taskbar on the main monitor disappeared again. /Shrug.

This isn't a game-breaker or anything, but I like always having my taskbar visible - the auto-hide setting annoys me - pops up when I don't mean for it to do so and not pop up when I expect it to. I guess until they get around to looking into this, I will just have to deal with it, but I don't really foresee myself using Copilot much anyway. So, I'm good, I guess.

EDIT AGAIN: I forgot that the Snipping Tool has been upgraded last year and allows screen recording now, so I made a screen recording you can watch to see this in action. I uploaded the 10.1mb video clip to my OneDrive and anyone can (should) be able to view it by clicking this link below.

What is Copilot and How did it get on my PC?

    Here you go:

    https://www.itechtics.com/?dl_id=144

Group Policy Editor Link for W11 installation

Run as Administrator and allow to install

NB: MUST SELECT ENABLE first AS THIS ALLOWS APP TO TURN OFF THE PROGRAM

    1. Open Local Group Policy Editor from the Windows search - type Gpedit.msc in the Run command and click icon

    1. Navigate to the following folder in the Group Policy Editor window using the left panel:User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Windows Copilot

    1. On the right-side pane, double-click the 'Turn off Windows Copilot' policy.

    1. Select 'Enabled' and click 'Apply' and then 'OK'. This allows the app to disable CoPilot

Click 'Disabled' then Apply to turn off CoPilot
    f

    1. To re-enable Windows Copilot, follow the same steps and select 'Not configured' or 'Disabled'. Then, click 'Apply' and 'OK'.
If the Copilot button is visible in the taskbar, it will disappear after you apply the policy. You do not need to restart your computer or enforce the Group Policies. The Copilot option will also disappear from the Settings app.
