    Why does dwm.exe impact high? and if I close it, it will appear again?


    So I cannot play games at all or smoothly, and my laptop is hitting, so give me a solution, please.

    Desktop Windows Manager(DWM) consuming more ram usage

    Hey, i have tried all the troubleshooting steps suggested by you to toubleshoot DWM ram usage issue, but still the problem persist and I just close the DWM in task manager, but this is not permant solution I found, because I need to perform same task for every start. Is there any permant solution to this problem apart from the above ?

    High digit in DWM user. Is this even normal?

    Recently, I was looking what was using my CPU that much - and it was just Microsoft Compatibility Telemetry, so nothing interesting here. Until, I realised DWM was running under DWM-26 user. I saw the dwm.exe process running as DWM-1 to 3 usually... but DWM-26... I have never seen this high number...

    So, can anyone tell me, is this even normal that the DWM process is running in this high-number user? And can anyone tell me what's the matter on the number of the DWM user?

    There are no instabilities with this process whatsoever.
