Problem: When enabling HDR mode in Windows 11 on the Philips Evnia 32M2C5501/00 monitor, there is overexposure of interface elements in all programs, along with reduced contrast and color depth. Additionally, in all games that support HDR, the image becomes darkened, and all white colors turn into semi-dark tones.Attempts were made to change the color profile provided by Philips, but this did not resolve the issue. Efforts to adjust colors using Nvidia tools also had no effect. The Windows HDR calibration tool was used, but it did not solve the problem either.Monitor: Philips Evnia 32M2C5501/0

GTX 1650 HDMI Ports Not Working!?

This relates to my older computer with an older monitor. Computer specifications - motherboard - ASRock Z77 Performance CPU - Intel Core i5-3570K RAM - 2 x 8 GB DDR3 HDD's - 2 x 500 GB; 1 x 4 TB Optical Drives - x 2 Video card - GIGABYTE GTX 1650 OC LP (GV-N1656OC-4GL) with 2 x HDMI, 1 x DVI, and 1 x DisplayPort outputs. Monitor - Philips 190 B4, with only one VGA input port. Operating system - Microsoft Windows 7 Professional (x64) Build 7601 (Service Pack 1) nVidia video driver - version 474.11 There is output from the GTX 1650 video card to a newer monitor by using a DVI to DVI video cable. The older Philips monitor still works by using a VGA to VGA video cable connected to an even older computer. I have a new computer which uses HDMI port from its video card to the new monitor via a DVI port. I'm wanting to connect the ASRock motherboard computer video card video output (via GTX 1650) to the older Philips monitor. I don't currently have a DVI to VGA video cable for connecting the GTX 1650 video card to the old Philips monitor. But I have a new HDMI port to VGA port video cable for connecting to one of the two HDMI ports on the GTX 1650 video card and connecting to the VGA port on the Philips monitor. Problem is, when trying the HDMI to VGA video cable, there is no video output shown on the Philips monitor!? I tried the second HDMI port on the GTX 1650 video card as well, but that also failed to produce a video output on the Philips monitor! I don't (yet) have a second HDMI to VGA video cable to test in case there is a fault within the video cable. Apart from possible video cable fault, what could be the problem with there being no video outputs on the GTX 1650 HDMI ports? Faulty video card?

GTX 1650 HDMI Ports Not Working!?

Comments noted, thanks. The video cable came in a packet labelled HDMI to VGA, so this cable should work. When using this video cable as a test with my newer monitor, again there was no signal seen on the monitor. To me that suggests a problem with the cable. The VGA input port on the old Philips monitor does work when a VGA to VGA video cable is connected to an older computer that has a VGA output. So that suggests the VGA port on the old Philips monitor is working, and again suggests a problem with the HDMI to VGA video cable. I don't have another HDMI to whatever video cable to test the video card HDMI ports. Although it is possible that the GTX 1650 HDMI ports could be faulty, I still suspect that it is the new HDMI to VGA video cable that is faulty. My intention is to return this new HDMI to VGA video cable to the store where I purchased it from, and maybe get them to test the cable, and/or get a refund. This store does not at present have DVI to VGA video cables to exchange with. Ideally I should get a DVI to VGA cable to run from the GTX 1650 video card to the old monitor. There is no option to purchase another monitor at present due to limited finances, so the cheapest and preferable option is to get a suitable video cable that works with the GTX 1650 video card and with the old monitor.
