Windows 10: why does error code 0x80072f8f keep appearing when trying to run media creation tool.

Good morning to all,i recently tried to install the media creation tool on my windows 7 samsung laptop,but keep getting the code 0x80072F8F when trying to run program,i have read online that the media creation tool stopped in 2016,but still read that it still works,this is very conflicting news,as i can run the program on my old laptop which already has windows 10 installed,but it fails to load on this laptop,i recently did a complete wipe of my hard drive proir to reinstalling windows 7,would this be the cause,as i also didn't have a valid product key,and will renew this very soon,so is this

I was also facing the same issue while upgrading my machine from Windows 7 to Windows 10. I have found one article for the same and followed the steps mentioned in the article. I am able to run the media creation tool now.

I have a copy of Windows 8 and I tried to upgrade my Windows to Windows 10 using the upgrade tool, but this code appears (Media Creation tool error code 0x80072f8f - 0x20000.). I formatted the computer and tried to upgrade again, but I face the same problem.



Note: When I try to search for updates from the control panel windows update, a message appears code (80072EFE).
