Windows 10: Why does every Windows 11 update cause my laptop to have multiple, new issues? Different...

Latest update issues: Changed user to Administrator instead of Client, so I didn't recognize the desktop when I opened my laptop. I didn't know this was the issue until taking it in to a computer place. Changed one of my security settings that I know was clicked on before the update. Past update issues: In one year, multiple updates have caused: Websites to not run correctly for me. My keyboard to have issues with some of the keys. My settings to be completely changed

Windows 11 update on my laptop causing boot issues

Recently, I have started witnessing booting issues on my HP laptop. I have been keeping my windows version up to date. But still I am frequently seeing startup issues. Every time, I switch on my pc, it is starting in F11 recovery mode and giving few options on blue screen. Tried to do startup repairs, uninstall recent updates and all. But it is still causing the issue.

Tried restoring to a recent point to recover laptop. Even after doing it multiple times, it is still going into the F11 recovery option every time I start my laptop fresh. Requesting some suggestions on this issue. Anyone faced this issue earlier?

Thank you for your response: apologies for slow feedback.

Regarding step 1 - doing a restore point : I tried this twice and twice it failed. Now, the date of the update that caused the issue (13/14 September 2019) has disappeared from the history list. Is there a way of finding it, still?

Regarding Step 2- the list of updates installed: the two suggestions above do not seem to appear in the list in the window "Installed Updates".

There are two updates listed for 13 September - Security Update for Adobe Flash Player and Security Update for Microsoft Windows.

Could you advise what I might try next?

Futuremark 3DMark 11 Updated to v1.0.3

Futuremark today released an update for its 3DMark 11 benchmark suite that's built to put today's and tomorrow's DirectX 11 GPUs through their paces. Although this is a relatively minor update, Futuremark recommended that all existing users update to this version for reliability. It packs the following changes:

• Bullet physics library updated to version 2.79 to improve compatibility with future CPUs and GPUs.
• For most systems containing multiple GPUs, for example integrated graphics and an additional discrete graphics card, the user can now select the GPU to be tested using a new option on the Help tab.
• Improved error handling and user messages for the most common compatibility issues.
• SystemInfo component updated to version 4.5 for improved compatibility with current and future hardware.
• New "More" tab with information about other Futuremark products and services.
