Windows 10: Why does Folder Network Share not work in my Phone's Mobile Hotspot?

Hello together,i am about so setup an automatic file synch, that should be independent of internet access/that should use wifi only for data transmission in a local setup. Clouds out. Automatic, like device A is reachable in local network, device b will start a sync or c or d. Automatically.I started with the the usual software you find when you type file sync.Now these require a path to the folders or files they are supposed to synch.I set up a bidirectional connection between my two laptops with two shared test folders, shared them and made everything work.This setup with network folders on

If you’re referring to sharing the Wireless network connection in Windows 10, I suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below.

1. Press Windows + I key on your keyboard and click on Network & Internet.
   
2. On the network & Internet page, click on ‘Mobile hotspot’.
   
3. ‘Turn On’ Share my Internet connection with other devices under Mobile hotspot.
   
4. The default network name and password will be available under Mobile hotspot.
   
5. Enter the same password on the device which you’re trying to connect and check the status of the issue.

Enable Internet sharing/Mobile hotspot on Lumia 950

To enable Internet sharing/Mobile hotspot on your phone, please follow the steps below:

1. Go to Settings.
2. Tap on Network & wireless.
3. Tap Mobile hotspot.
4. Tap on the On/Off slider to enable the Internet sharing/Mobile hotspot on your phone.

Can't get "Win10 mobile hotspot" to work. Need advice.

That's why I'm perplexed.

Here is the network connections on my P70. Mobile Hotspot is enabled, as previously described. But I still cannot connect successfully to it either via my Android phone nor my Dell laptop.





The ethernet connection is 192.168.1.1, DHCP YES. Shared Internet checkbox checked, Mobile Hotspot connection listed.
The Mobile Hotspot connection is 192.168.137.1, DHCP NO.
