Why does it keep saying the product key didn'work. I just purchased this from Microsoft

1. What is the version of Windows installed on your PC, is that Windows 10 Home or Pro?
2. Are you receiving any error message, when you are trying to activate your Windows 10?
3. Have you purchased the product key for Windows 10 while purchasing the laptop?
4. How did you run windows recovery?

What did the Chat Support Agent say?

Click System

Under Windows edition, which edition is installed?

 

"Product key"

I have received a message saying my windows license is expiring. it tells me to enter a product code. When I purchased the desktop it came with Windows10 installed so I have no product key to enter in order to update activation. suggestions? the Microsoft
website information is not helpful.
