Windows 10: Why does it has to have windows 11 with a temporary account?

I have been using windows 10 for approximately 5 years with no problems , i recently bought a windows 11 operated laptop i experienced various drawbacks , i lost my valuable data I recently downloaded on my laptop with the last money i had in need of those files ,look now i am stranded with tears filled on my eyes lost my lifetime valuable work i worked on , trusting your administrator account to secure my data , only if i did not know that i slaughtered myself losing all my valuable documents i moved to documents on the administrator account , handy downloads my god which worth 17 GB a

How to change temporary account to permanent account in Windows 10.

Before assisting further, I would like to ask you few questions:

  What do you mean by “temporary profile”?
  
• 
  Are you logged into a temporary user profile?
  

If you are logged in into a temporary profile, I suggest you to reboot the PC and check if the issue is resolved. If the issue persists, I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if the issue is resolved.

Step 1: Enable built-in administrator account.

• 
  Open Elevated command prompt by entering
  Safe mode with Command prompt. To go to safe mode, use the power button on the sign-in screen and press
  Shift + Restart. This will take you to the recovery boot menu. Click
  Troubleshoot> Advanced options> Startup settings.
  You then see a list where you can choose Safe Mode with Command prompt.
  
• 
  Type the following command: net user administrator /active:yes
  
• 
  Login into the built in administrator user profile and create a new user profile with administrator privileges.
  
• 
  Delete the corrupted user account from the built in administrator.
  
• 
  Then lock your screen by pressing Windows key + L, and sign-in at the
  Administrator account.
  
• 
  Check if the issue persist and you can disable built in administrator account by typing the command:
  net user administrator /active:no
  in the Command prompt (Admin).
  

Step 2: To create a new user account
follow the steps below:

• 
  Open Elevated command prompt by right clicking on the
  Start icon and select Command prompt (Admin).
  
• 
  Type net user NewAccount password /add
  and click Enter.
  
• 
  Type net localgroup Administrators NewAccount /add and click
  Enter.
  
• 
  Log off from the system and login to the new user account.

Windows 10 temporary profile error?

As per the issue description you are facing issue in editing some settings from a temporary profile. You need to login to your original (Administrator) profile to change those settings.

I would suggest you to change the account type to administrator, if it is not and see if it helps. Try the steps provided below to change the account type.

• Login with the temporary profile.
• Press Windows key + X.
• Select Control Panel from the list.
• Select Large icons from the view by drop down menu.
• Click on User Accounts.
• Click on Change Account type.
• Select Administrator radio button and click OK.
