    Why does it say Windows updated but at the same time it shows that Windows isn't activated


    When I bought the Asus Vivobook laptop, I was told that the licensed Windows was already built-inside the Motherboard. Why does it say Windows updated but at the same time it shows that Windows isn't activated

    Printer isn´t working after latest update.

    After the latest update from Windows, my Canon Pixma ip6600 printer isnt working. In Device Manager it shows up as working properly but when I go to print it isn´t listed as an option in any programs. Troubleshoot suggests it´s a USB 2 printer on a USB
    3 port and that that´s the problem but that cant be since it worked fine before the update. I´ve tried to uninstall and plug it back in but that doesn´t work either.

    Windows updates...

    Oh. Your "Registry" must have gotten screwed up FLY3R. If for some reason you couldn't download your updates I suppose you could go to the update site, and run throught the steps 'till it fails activation. Then you could go up to "Tools > Manage Add ons > then disable "Windows Genuine Advatage Validation Tool." Of course you should only use this method if you are having problems updating your legitamate copy of Windows XP. Perhaps do to a corrupted piece of software? *Smile Why does it say Windows updated but at the same time it shows that Windows isn't activated :)
